Raby Castle 10K & 5K - 29th May 2005

The Raby Castle 10K and 5K races, organised by Teesdale AC, were on Sunday 29th May and, although the Harriers had just one runner take part this year, Marc Scott did the business! Marc ran in the 5K and finished 5th overall with only Chas Herrington, a senior from Belgrave H&AC, and three under 16 boys ahead of him - 1st Under 12 in a time of 21:27. He said he “enjoyed the run which was on roads and woodland paths, didn’t mind the hill, was encouraged by the marshals, thought the fancy dress was funny and the scenery was fantastic although…didn’t get much time to see it on the run”.
