These models are similar to the IIIA, but with the addition of side mounted flash synchronisation, for use with a special bulb flash unit. Externally, the IVF and IVS are identical. The IVF does, however, have a built-up interior wall next to the film supply chamber whilst on the IVS this wall is flat and die cast. The one-piece lever
next to the rewind knob operates the optical finder, which covers 50mm (F),
100mm (1 x) and 135mm (1.5 x) focal lengths. The
baseplate is removable, to allow film loading. The top of the camera has the following inscription: |
