In general, Seiki Kogaku models have formed metal bodies, although a number of the later ones are die-cast.

Serial numbers of Seiki Kogaku versions fall within the range 15000 to 18000, whilst Canon versions are within the range 15700 to 23375.

The engraving on the film advance and rewind knobs consists of a diamond pattern.
