This camera was produced
in two versions - Seiki Kogaku and Canon. Engraving on the top plate was
originally Canon with Seiki Kogaku underneath. In 1947 the company name
was changed to Canon Camera Company Ltd and the engraving altered to Canon
with Canon Camera Company Ltd underneath. Serial numbers of Seiki Kogaku versions fall within the range 15000 to 18000, whilst Canon versions are within the range 15700 to 23375. |
