General notes: This camera is the most common version of the FED-2. It is fitted with a self timer and has a diopter adjustment lever next to the rewind knob. In addition to black, cameras were available with blue, red or green body covering.

Pictured camera: Body serial number 2264050. Lens is a FED/Industar-26M. Date of manufacture is between 1958 and 1964, when the Industar-26M lens was replaced by the Industar-61.
