The lens has a bayonet fitting, and this camera is therefore not strictly speaking a Leica copy. The Gamma II and III are very similar in appearance, however, although both have a Leica screw mount. The focal plane shutter consists of two shaped metal plates and this accounts for the two bulges on the front of the body. The top of the camera has the following inscription: |
