The Military Kardon was produced to meet the requirements of the U.S. Signal Corps for a camera that could operate over a wide temperature range (-55 to +65 °C). The large film wind-on knob, shutter release and lever on the slow speed dial, allowed the camera to be used whilst wearing gloves. This model also differs from the civilian version in that the viewfinder and rangefinder eyepieces are extended. Flash synchronization was not fitted to this camera. |
