General notes: This camera is flash synchronized for X. Only the standard lens was produced by the factory for this camera.

The first and second models of the Shanghai 58-II differ from the third model as follows:

•They have diopter adjustment through a lever below the film rewind knob (diopter adjustment omitted from third model)

•There are press plates in the accessory shoe, which is held by four screws (there are no press plates and only 3 screws on the third model).

•There are strap lugs (these were omitted on both the second and third models)
