The Tanack IIIF is visually similar to the IIC, but with the addition of a slow speed dial in place of the blanking plate.

The camera has a hinged back, which is locked by a baseplate key. The flash synchronization socket on the front is for M.

An advertisement in the March 1954 issue of Asahi Camera lists a IIIF with a 2.8 lens at a price of 29800 yen.
