This camera is a development of the Nicca IIIL (Yashica took over the Nicca company in May 1958). It is marked 'Yashica' on the top plate, and 'Nicca' on the front (above the slow speed dial).
It differs from the
Nicca IIIL in the following respects:
The film type indicator was omitted from the back of the camera.
The release button is larger, and no longer circular.
Shutter speed indicator is in the middle of the speed dial.
The viewfinder has marks for 35, 50 and 100mm lenses (with parallax correction
