General notes: Apart from the fact that it is fitted with a lever wind, and the film take-up spool is fixed, this camera is identical to the Zorki 4 (produced between 1956 and 1973). Fitted with a self timer, it has a diopter adjustment lever next to the rewind knob and flash synchronisation (1/30 for X). X or M are set by rotating the outer ring of the speed dial. The first two digits of the s/n indicate the year of manufacture.
Cameras are found with both Roman (export) and Cyrillic (domestic market) engraving.
Pictured camera: Body serial number is 74609615, which indicates that it was produced in 1974. Lens is a Jupiter 8 2.0/50mm with s/n 7447473.
