As well as my Black Sabbath
collection, I have a few other unofficial recordings from some of my
favourite bands. They have come from different sources and alot of
them are exceedingly rare. If you would like to trade for anything you
see below then please contact me.
I have just begun my new DVD
collection of bands playing in concert. Again I intend to only
own the best in picture and sound quality.

Brazilian release of the classic
concert of the Burn era Deep Purple at the 1974 Cal Jam. Pro shot film
unavailable officially on DVD. Brazilian Menu put easy to operate. Region 0 - NTSC

An awesome pro-shot from Brazil
MTV. An A rated DVD that showcases how
good Dickinson and Smith are back together again.

Bruce's solo career before coming
back to Maiden really took off with the blazing sets of albums Accident Of
Birth and Chemical Wedding. Here we can view this powerful band is
full concert action in an audience shot show from Greece, which I have rated
as a B-. I feel this is better than the
Maiden comeback!

Firebird's first headline show in
Belfast was thankfully captured on video in this superb
A rated audience show. This show has the
mini-disc recorded audio dubbed over the visuals to heighten the quality of
the recording. The audio is also available separately.
Region 0 - PAL

My first ever personally recorded
DVD - filmed and created by myself, I am amazed at the quality of this show
and rate it as an audience A recording.
Firebird yet again put on a great set of roaring retro style rock!
Region 0 - PAL

Firebird return to Belfast in 2005
with a slightly altered lineup that brings back their original drummer
Ludwig Witt (Spiritual Beggars) and perform a short but powerful set that
will hopefully show a few glimpses as to the new album may sound like.
Region 0 - PAL

With Hot Wings about to be
released, Firebird unleash themselves on a 4 date Irish tour. This is
the Belfast show which features Bill Steer, Ludwig Witt and Harry Armstrong
(End Of Level Boss/ex- Hangnail). This is a great audience show
(filmed by myself, so I have to promote it!) and features a great set of new
material and old classics. Only problem was that Katy Daly's was
poorly lit, the the visuals are very dark in this DVD.
Region 0 - PAL

Prior to recording their 5th
album, Firebird return to Belfast to play in the Spring & Airbrake.
The core of the band of Bill and Ludwig are complemented by Smok on bass and
have immediately gelled into a powerful trio. New songs set to appear
on the album feature in the set along with some old and new classics from
all the albums and some great cover selections.
Region 0 - PAL

Two superb Maiden concerts on one
DVD. The first is the legendary 1982 Beast Over Hammersmith.
Footage that Maiden wouldnt release due to technical problems but finally
presented here on DVD in a B- rated quality.
The following concert at Dortmund is an excellent A rated show. Both
are pro-shot.

One of the best live albums of all
time also has some great accompanying pro-shot footage. This is the
Brazilian release of Iron Maiden's Live After Death, which is arguably them
at their live peak. Brazilian menu but easy to operate.
Region 0 - NTSC

Queen - Live At The Rainbow 1974
A superb audio and visual quality
A+ rated DVD that shows the power of an early
Queen performance. Taking in tracks from the first three albums this
is the bridge between Queen still being heavy while branching out on more
progressive themes. Region 0 - NTSC

The Kings and Queens of Boogie
played to an empty Rosetta Bar in Belfast, but that did not stop them
performing and rocking at their very best. First night of the 2004
European tour is captured by my friend and myself using a multi-camera angle
view and sound is dubbed from a mini-disc recording in this superb
A rated audience shot show.

Rainbow - Live In Munchen, Germany
1977 (cover kindly donated by Jim Dimitratos - click the Rainbow DVD image
for a link to Jim's trading site)
I have recently received this DVD
update to the video version I had of this concert and it provides a superior
sound although does have a slightly darker picture, but this was never a
well-lit show anyway. This is Rainbow on the final stretch with Dio
before Blackmore decided to go commercial and still shows the band as the
powerful heavy rock outfit that released 3 of the best classic rock albums
ever. An A rated show.
Region 0 - NTSC

Another legendary concert live
album with accompanying pro shot footage. This is Rush at their prog-rock
height and finally presented on DVD with the release of this concert from a
Brazilian production. Brazilian menu but easy to operate.
Region 0 - NTSC

After a series of technological
advanced album in the 1980's, Rush still showed that they could produce the
goods and the sounds live on the 1988 Show Of Hands album and video.
Now presented on this Brazilian DVD release. Brazilian menu but easy
to operate. Region 0 - NTSC

A rare Pro Shot
A rated show from the powerful Counterparts
tour. As Rush progress into the latter stage of Phase Four, they
showcase their strongest album in years with yet another superb live
performance. Region 0 - NTSC

Trouble are the grooviest bunch of
heavy hitters outside of Sabbath, and alongside Cathedral have carried the
torch for chuggy riffing over a series of classic albums. Here we can
view an excellent A- audience shot show from
the amazing Manic Frustration tour. Region 0 -
NTSC

Before the explosion that was the
1987 album, Whitesnake were huge everywhere else outside of the USA.
This features the backbone of the 1987 writing team and is the only tour
that John Sykes got to shine with the Snake. An
A rated pro shot performance from the 1985 Rock In Rio concert.
Region 0 - NTSC

Neil Young - do I need to say
more! This time our hero is in full grunge mood on his Year Of The
Horse tour from 1996. A concert and documentary that has now received
a Brazilian release. Brazilian menu but easy to operate.
