Plate Semi-Final v Streatham
We were drawn away to Streatham in the Plate Semi-Final. Sadly, we could not raise a team for the date chosen, which was limited by availability of Golden Lane, Streatham's chosen home venue. Since Golden Lane is the central venue for London League matches, space there for Eastman Cup fixtures depends on finding an evening, mutually acceptable to both sides, when there is only one London League match taking place.
As Streatham were not prepared to play at The Carpenters Arms, we had little option, therefore, but to conceded the match by default.
