Ratcliff Blitz Championship

Held 29th April 2009 at The Carpenters Arms

The entry comprised the "usual suspects" missing, sadly, the regular appearance of David Malcolm.

The two first round winners, Paul Barclay and Martin Page, were destined to finish at opposite ends of the table. Martin had the misfortune not to score another point, while Paul Barclay continued in determined mood and, once in the lead at the end of round 2, stayed there and was the only player to avoid defeat.
