Henry married Elizabeth Naylor, daughter of Oliver Naylor and Unknown, on 8 Aug 1839 in South Weald, Essex. (Elizabeth Naylor was born on 23 Feb 1816 in Brixton, Surrey and died on 2 Dec 1870 in Brixton, Surrey.)

Henry also had a relationship with Frances Carolina Burton, daughter of Charles Burton and Lilly ?. (Frances Carolina Burton was born about 1806.)

  Family Notes:

The general assumption by researchers is that Henry Francis did not marry the mother of James Henry and so James was illegitimate. Research suggests that her name was Frances Burton and that she probably died in childbirth There is, however, a Fanny Burton recorded in the 1881 census as an unmarried lodger at 7 James St London, age 75 and an annuitant, born in St Margarets, Middlesex. Could this be our Frances receiving a 'pension' from Henry Francis?
