- The original software UseModWiki we were using was a single monolithic script
- Grubstreet lasted a year before we decided to rewrite the software
- The rewrite took a further 6 months
- We adopted a modular approach with CGI::Wiki
- OpenGuides being a geographic application of CGI::Wiki
