His
participation in the community activities led him to set up his
own guitar and keyboard academy for children. This was a great
success reaching nearly a hundred students!
In
Colombia he integrates several music bands such as La
Severa Matacera, Grupo Bantu, Grupo Jare, and Safari,
among others. At this time he begins his first set up arrangements
for live music.
Due
to the economic crisis suffered by the country and low work demand
for sound engineers, he decides to travel to England in February
2001. In April 2001 he is employed as a musician at the Spanish
restaurant El Metro in Fulham Broadway, London. Soon after he
is the principal Sound Engineer at La Comunidad Cristiana
de Londres (Christian
Community of London) at City Temple, Holborn where
he orchestrates the sound for a Church with over 3500 members
and for many notorious international Christian music bands.
In
January 2005 he finalizes his studies of Sound Recording and Music
Technology at IMW (UK).
During
his first seven years in England he performs as principal engineer
at various concerts for renowned Latin artists and bands among
which we can find Richie
Rey, Nelson y Sus Estrellas, Enanitos Verdes and Los
Angeles Negros.
As
a producer he has experience in composing and recording several
radio commercials, and jingles such as the one broadcasted by
Radio Visión transmitted by Spectrum Radio UK. |
