The JFJ's consisted of a unique batch of 12 7'6" wide Plaxton bodied Bristol LH's.  All designed originally for Tour work, some eventually ended up on bus work.  Then from 1984 they were gradually all exported to Guernsey.  Remarkably only one of the batch has so far been scrapped that being JFJ503N.  As you can see from the pictures above they all had approx 6" taken of the length of the vehicle defore being exported.  This was undertaken by Herald Engineering of Plymouth.  I hope you find these photo's as interesting as I have done.  If you can add any more to the JFJ story or you know where one is currently residing then please email me.
