We never visited the Royal Dragoon, formerly a Shepherd Neame pub
so we can't say anything about it, we're afraid. We'd love to know about your memories of the place if you ever visited - please use the forum. It was converted into an ordinary house,
a happily-rare fate for pubs in Canterbury. It's the big white building on the corner of Broad Street and Military Road just down from
another former Shepherd Neame pub, the Brewer's Delight, which closed just a few
years later.
