The great thing about Canterbury is how so many pubs are crammed into such a
small area. A few years ago we decided it'd be great to go to every pub inside
the city wall (or where the wall would be if it still went all the way round) in
a day. The number of pubs has steadily risen but we reckon it's still just about
do-able, especially now pubs often open earlier and close later than they used
to. The list below is alphabetical - to avoid double-backing on yourself we recommend doing them in a more sensible order!
We think there are currently 30, but these things change all the time.
If there's a pub missing, out of date, or whatever, use the forum to tell to tell us.
Edit: Until recently we had the Jolly Sailor on this list - we were never sure which side of the wall it would've been (it's on a bit where the wall has gone) but closer inspection of aerial photography makes it clear it's just outside the wall.
