 I have always had an interest in photography and living in the USA allowed me to  see the American way of life from an outsider's point of view , I tended to take photos of things which other Americans took for granted. The railroad trains ,the contrast between black and white , rich and poor - here was the very essence of American life "warts and all". This was a photographer's paradise.
