The Sound Track of Your Life

1) You ask where the songs come from by asking you'll never know

Have you never drunk a whiskey or slept out in the snow?

Have you never tasted hunger or had to swallow pride

The songs are just the open wound of the hurt that is inside

2)Listen to the voices, look between the lines

Trust your intuition, learn to read the signs

The songs will come  from what you feel and lovers that you meet

And nights you spent sweating from the passion and the heat

3)So don't expect amusement I'm not here to entertain

Step inside the heartache and drink a toast to pain

You ask where the songs come from your fears  ,your hurt your strife

The past that has been seen and lived the soundtrack of your life
