Time certainly plays tricks on the old grey cells! I have tried my best to remember the names of my fellow pupils in my classes from 2 to 5A. I have contacted a few old schoolmates, and I found it AMAZING that they came up with names I didn't remember, and visa versa! I think what the problem was, that each year, some pupils were assigned to different 'steams'. Hobbies and interests I think also had an impact on who your close friends were. (I for example used to like fishing, keeping pigeons and mice etc.) So when someone was moved from the A to B stream, it was very easy for such names not to be so prominent. Below is the list I cooked up. If you would like to jolt my memory and REMIND me of any names I have missed, I would LOVE to hear from you!

SAD NEWS

 I regret to inform you that on Wednesday the 20th of June 2007 Glyn Meek passed away.

The funeral service was held at the Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday 28th. at 11.30a.m.

I was in Gloucester only two weeks before, and could not understand why I could not find him in his usual haunts. Perhaps he was in hospital then? I am cross with myself that I did not try harder to find out just where he was. Sorry mate. I was looking forward to seeing you once again. :-(
