Cycling on behalf of Children's Hospice South West

About us

In 2007, we cycled from bottom to top, and as the ride went so well without any major incidents, we thought we should do it again, but this time from top to bottom and raise more money for the Children’s Hospice.

ArthurArthur, who is 63, is married to Pat and they have two black labradors. Since Arthur took early retirement from his job as Financial Controller in the Scientific Division of British Aerospace, he has enjoyed doing a variety of activities. His hobbies include music, woodwork, playing squash amongst other things. He has also helped with the accounts of various charities and this year he relinquishes his post as treasurer of the Bristol and District Organists’ Association after 8 years of doing their accounts.

Also, Arthur enjoys walking and has completed over 400 miles of the South West Coastal Path and hopes to complete the remaining 200 miles
when time allows.
