Masters

The Masters Section was taken into Brentwood Swimming Club following the demise of Albyns Swimming Club that, while based in Brentwood since 1985, and was an independent club comprising many record-holding Master swimmers.

Their entry into the Brentwood Club has broadened the squad structure to provide a formal training programme for a broad spectrum of adult swimmer from the competitive tri-athlete and Master swimmer to those looking for a supervised keep-fit programme. A Master Swimmer is defined at over 18.

Training Sessions are based around regular sessions on Sunday (19.00 to 20.00 hrs), Monday (20.00 to 21.30 hrs) with additional, subject to availability of water space, morning training on Monday, Thursday and Friday (05.30 to 07.30) and Saturday (06.00 to .08.00). All sessions are located at the Brentwood Centre, Doddinghurst Road, and times are subject to changes but are published on the club website.

The fee structure for Masters section is based on a regular subscription. The payment structure includes Club Membership, basic ASA registration and training water time. Those swimmers who wish to compete in Open Master competition will need to complete a full ASA registration with the payment of an additional fee.
