| Rose Graal Series |

|
I designed and created "The
Rose Graal Series" for my final assesment at The Surrey
Institute Of Art & Design, University College. I created
the graal embryos which I sandblasted, engraved and cut on the
diamond wheel and then picked up and blew into an adjustable
stainless steel mould. These were then cut and polished. |

| Mountain Series |

|
For the "Mountain Series"
I blew black and white overlay cylinders, I then cut the cylinders
in half and placed them in the kiln to form flat glass which
could be manipulated into shards. The shards used for the final
pieces were sandblasted to give them a resemblance to mountain
ranges. The shards were heated and then rolled onto the glass
and then blown into a bowl. |

| Sunset Series |

|
I created the "Sunset Series"
by using trails of ferrari red and canary yellow glass. Before
the punty was made I applied the trails and then blew the bowl. |

This bowl was made using a similar
technique to the "Sunset Series" piece further up
this page. However this particular bowl was worked further by
sandblasting to create texture, hence you will notice the surface
is covered by peaks and troughs. |
