What's being said about Jeza ..
LA Cowboy on 'Place by the River'
As a 'prolific' songwriter myself, as well as a player, arranger, producer and mixer, I have to confess that this is one of the most beautiful, inspired songs I've ever heard. As a pretentious poet, I must say that the poem alone would be a gift from God to all of us busy, worried little misfits down here. Now how in the hell did Jeza also come up with the perfect melody, arrangement, production and mix?
I rarely, rarely find a song that I wish I would've written myself: let alone admitting it. This is one of them. Yet I also find myself wishing I would have sung, arranged, played, produced and mixed this one as it stands too. Do you realize what that means? I'm sitting here wishing I "was" Jeza at this moment. It has evidently also proven a 'perfect' remedy, inducing momentary self-forgetfullness, and for that I thank you my friend (if I may be so bold,) whoever and wherever you are.

I keep running into Jeza on different music sites, and I keep listening - always to the entire song! His players are always top-shelf, national caliber "A" players. Another beauty from Jeza! His arrangements are always unique, subdued (at least compared to a lot that are more cluttered - even mine!) relaxing and throughly enjoyable, which is what all music should be. His productions are always well-done with just the right ambience to fit the 'mood' of the song. His voice is unoffensive to the point of, if I may, beautiful.
It is so smooth, soothing and yet authoritative. And finally, his songs: What can I say? It is so refreshing to have a mature mind behind a great voice. He is original, yet the subtle musical influences of a life well traveled, make me feel immediately 'at home' whenever I hear something new. One of the hidden gems that a 'connoisseur of all things excellent' treasures as we travel the all too well-worn road of commercial mediocraty in this day and age of electronic marvels. Right on Jeza! I hope to meet thee one day, until then I shall remain a grateful fan of your music as well as an ardent proponent regarding your wonderous gifts.
