Well I was out late walking
down a country road
and the stars were shining so bright
There was a rustle in the trees,
and the leaves caught the breeze
and something caught my eye
up in the night sky...
I thought it might be Jupiter
don't ask me why
It shone so bright it filled the night
It seemed to pulsate
It started to vibrate
and then I saw the V-shape
and seven red lights!!!
Now what I tell you next
might sound absurd
But you're just gonna have
to take my word
I ain't had a drink
I know what you think
but I know I think I seen a UFO
... at least I think so!!
But when the lights came down
in a tight formation
It seemed like a whole damn
alien nation
Each one about a mile long
and blocking out the stars...
Well in the blinking of an eye
they flew across the sky
but there was nothing here on earth
I could identify
There was a beam of light
my hair turned white
I felt myself floating I was dying of fright
There was flying saucers
and little green men
I think I been abducted by an ali-alien
Flying saucers
and little green men
I've been abducted by ali-alien ...
Well some time later
I woke up in some woods
and I want to tell somebody
but it won't do me no good
Because noone would believe me
nobody would dare
But I'll tell you this for nothing...
The truth is out there!!!
There they go!
Now what I tell you next
might sound absurd
But you're just gonna have
to take my word
I ain't had a drink
I know what you think
but I know I think I seen a UFO
You really should have been there
It landed in my cornfield
I took a photograph - I hope it comes out ..
