Writer's block
(3.19) - Bebop Jazz
Well I've been trying all night
to write a new song
But I can't think of
anything to write about
Well I need an inspiration
and I need a new girl
Maybe that's what the problem is
Well I don't have a clear
idea in my head
Nothing comes together
like butter on bread
I tried every trick
in my repertoire
But nothing seems to work
I think I'll
play my guitar now!!!
I got writer's block
Writer's block
Maybe if I just stop
thinking about it
It will all come
together like that!
Why write a song about
nothing at all
Well I can't see the sense in that!
I got writer's block
Talk about writer's block
Well I've been trying all night
to write a new song
But every idea seems to go wrong
Well I'm trying to find a riff
that works like this
But every riff I play
is from another song!!
Well I thought of every thought
that I could possibly think
But at the end of the day,
I just need a drink
My mind is in a muddle
and my brain is on the blink
And if it goes on any longer
Then I'll have to see
a shrink about it
I got writer's block
Talk about writer's block
Maybe if I just stop
thinking about it
It will all come together
like that!
Why write a song
about nothing at all
Well I can't see
the sense in that!
I got writer's block
Oh no!! writer's block
