It felt good to have the snow under my skies again after such a long time without. Jacqui felt that it was time that I went ski-ing so she packed my bags and sent me to the mountains to enjoy myself.
Shaun and myself drove to Jungholz in Austria, it took 18 hours, a good meal, a couples of beers and a good nights sleep and we were ready to hit the slopes. Shaun went into the ski school as he had not skied since he was at school and I soon found skiers to ski with.
It was good to see old friends again and make new ones, it snowed all week which made the ski-ing great, we had powder every morning and good ski-ing all day and then the after ski was very good.
The weather was good to us as the last day was sunshine all day which finished the holiday off with a good feeling.
Then the drive home. |
