Shin Do Acupressure is effective in helping release muscular tension and
Relieve stress-related problems like: headaches, backaches, muscular pain,
anxiety, fatigue insomnia, eyestrain, menstrual/menopausal discomfort, digestive,
distress, sinus pain and allergies.
There will generally be significantly less tension and pain, and an increased sense of well being, during and after a session. Sometimes the response is felt more the following day. In. the case of chronic fatigue, at first the client may feel more tired after a session, because the body is demanding rest; it is advisable to
schedule sessions planning time to relax afterwards.
Limitations
As with all forms of complementary health therapy, clients are advised to consult their doctors and referred to other health professionals where this is necessary and helpful.
Contraindications
The only contraindications are obvious ones like not pressing
on open sores or rashes, and not pressing too hard in the case of phlebitis,
varicosities, broken blood vessels, or extensive bruising. Certain points are forbidden
during pregnancy.
