125th ANNIVERSARY OF THE GOTTHARD RAILWAY 2007 is the 125th anniversary of the famous Gotthard route. This feature contains photos of some of the events held and the special trains which ran.

SWISS 150 In 1997 the Swiss celebrated 150 years of railways. Many events took place throughout the country and I was lucky enough to be able to record some of them. This feature contains photos of the Locomotive Parade in Lausanne and the special trains hauled over the famous Gotthard route by steam and vintage electric locos.

THE RhB ALBULA LINE Photos of trains taken on the beautifully scenic Albula line between Preda and Bergün in Summer 1999 and Winter 2000. Many of shots were taken from the Preda Walk footpath which is highly recommended for the enthusiast who wants to watch the trains and keep fit at the same time. In complete contrast there are also some photos of the RhB Arosa trains traversing the busy streets of Chur.

THE "CHOCOLATE TRAIN" An illustrated feature describing a journey on the MOB's "Chocolate Train" which runs each Summer from Montreux to the Nestlé chocolate factory at Broc.

SWISS WINTER SELECTION Photos taken over the last 10 years of Swiss trains during the Winter months. The gallery includes many snow-scenes and features trains from the SBB, BLS, FO, RhB, MOB, LSE and SZU.

BLS Lötschbergbahn A selection of photos taken at various locations on this famous route showing examples of most BLS mainline loco types in use during the last 12 years.

"Lok 2000" IN CHINA Derivatives of the SBB/BLS Re460/465 locomotives have been purchased by a number of railway companies but I think that the two owned by KCR East Rail in Hong Kong are the greatest distance from "home".
