Higher Windsor Cottage is situated in a historic part of Bodmin only a few minutes walk from the town centre. It is a very friendly small establishment run by John and Trish with accommodation for five guests in well equipped rooms:

The en-suite room has a king size bed. Guests may also enjoy the comfort of a lounge/dining room with views overlooking the peaceful and secluded gardens of Higher Windsor Cottage. There is off-road car parking and secure storage for bicycles. We recommend guests sample our traditional English breakfast cooked on an AGA - we also offer vegetarian and Continental cuisine.

Bodmin is the historic county town of Cornwall and mentioned in the Domesday book, and is ideally situated in the centre of Cornwall. See "Around Bodmin" to get some idea why Bodmin is a perfect location to base yourselves for a holiday. The north and south coasts have beautiful beaches and scenic coastal walks and are only 30 minutes drive away. Nearby are the spectacular Bodmin Moor, Lanhydrock House and Gardens, the Eden Project and the world famous Heligan Gardens.

For enthusiastic golfers there are many challenging courses, and for cyclists there is the Camel Trail. The National Cycling Network runs very close. How To Find Us

How to find us: You approach Bodmin town centre from the north or west via the A30 or A38 with St Petroc's parish church on the right and a mini roundabout ahead take the second exit off the roundabout then immediately turn right into Castle Street. Continue up the hill to the road junction and turn left. Higher Windsor Cottage is then approximately 50 yards on the left. Click here to see a location map and more information. Bodmin Parkway rail station has a regular bus service into the centre of town.
