William worked for Aplin & Barrett (St. Ivel) and moved to London when they expanded. His occupation on his marriage certificate stated he was an Engineer. His sons William HS and Leslie also worked there.
Both William HS and Jessie Bayliss were recorded as living at the same address on their marriage certificate - 7 Great Chart Street. William was affected by gas at some time during WW1 and this contributed to his early death.
Kenneth was in the air force during the war. At sometime he contracted narcolepsy.
