Things You Can Do
- Pray—for asylum seekers and refugees
around the world and in the UK.
- Organise an ecumenical or inter-faith
liturgy for refugees. Prayer resources available from the JRS office.
- Join our mailing list and keep up to date
with issues affecting refugees and asylum seekers.
- Correspond with or visit an asylum seeker in
detention. Please contact us for more information about this.
- Collect and send us any unwanted Nectar
Vouchers for distribution to asylum-seekers.
- Send us information — local press cuttings
in particular — showing how asylum seekers and refugees are treated in
your area. (Negative and positive stories)
- Fundraise for an overseas JRS project or
contribute towards our national work.
- Volunteer to work for a year or more in a
JRS project overseas. See Volunteering

Donations to our work are always welcome!
Please send cheques payable to "Jesuit Refugee Service" to The
Administrator, Jesuit Refugee Service, 6 Melior
Street, LONDON SE1 3QP.
If you are a UK tax payer, you can increase the
value of your donation to us by 28p in every pound you give to us. All you
have to do is download our gift aid form, complete it and send it to us with
your cheque.
