Welcome to my web site containing information about my Family.
I suggest before you start you look the 'Tree Summary' found on the Family Tree Page - this gives you an overall view of my main descendants. This gives you a clue to where you are when looking through the people's details.

To go straight to the details goto 'Family Tree' and then 'Top of Tree' and work down through my family tree.

At the moment my site mainly includes details from the Sheppard and Wootton side of my family.
There is also a link to my Father's Family Tree.

You will notice that The Sheppard names changes as time goes back. Names would be spelt many ways, usually noted down just as the person  heard it.

On the left :-
Tree summary - Diagram of my direct descendants.
Wootton Plan - Diagram of the Wootton line in more detail.
Sheppard Plan - Diagram of the Sheppard line in more detail.
Back - Go back to the Index Page.

In the Centre :-
Index to all the people.

On the right :-
Top of the Tree (SHEPPARD) - Goto the details of the oldest person in the Sheppard line.
Top of the Tree (WOOTTON) - Goto the details of the oldest person in the Wootton line.

When you get to a page showing the details of a person on the bottom of the page will be navigation buttons:-
'Back to Menu'  -  Does just that.
'Child Details'  -  Displays the details of the children of the person you are looking at - except the main descendant.
'Down'  -  Will go to the next descendant down - usually in the male line.
'Up'  -  Will go to the next descendant up - usually in the male line.
'Photo's etc'  -  Goes to any more details held for that person including photos.

On the person's details pages you may see a ? next to text or surrounding it. If it is next to one piece of text or a number this means i'm not sure it is correct - it may have been hard to read in the original records. If ? surrounds a paragraph it means i am not 100% sure of the information, it hasn't been proven yet.

A * next to a person means that person is a main descendant of mine.
