NOTES:
John was born on the 9th of February 1796 in Walton on the Wolds. He was to become a farmer of some considerable standing. Moving to Wymeswold Lodge in Brook Street Wymeswold where he built his farm up to a considerable size. In the 1861 Census it stated he had 190 Acres and employed 2 Labourers.
