Judy Silkoff has been working as a
freelance journalist and editor from her
base in London, UK since 2000. She specialises in writing for and about the Orthodox Jewish community. Other writing topics of interest include parenting articles, book and restaurant reviews.
Judy currently works as Women's Editor for the Jewish Tribune newspaper. She contributes regularly to the Jewish Chronicle, the Jewish News, the Jewish Press and Hamodia newspapers, and writes a monthly parenting column for the Barnet Press. Literary articles and reviews have been published in the Jerusalem Post and Jane Austen's Regency World Magazine. Judy has also written and coordinated press publicity for a variety of schools and charities, including Kisharon, Chai Cancer Care and British Emunah.
Recently, Judy edited Soul Journey, a novel by Rosally Saltsman.
Judy's own book, Home On The Green, has just been published.
Judy grew up in the Orthodox Jewish community of Golders Green, North West London and now lives there with her husband, three children and two rabbits!
She holds a BA Hons (I) in English Literature from UCL (University of London).
