HOW DID YOU START OFF JUNIOR HANDLING?
Well I saw Crufts on the telly and I decided that that was what I wanted to do, it all inspired me.
DO YOU TAKE PART IN ANY OTHER DOGGY ACTIVITIES (OBEDIENCE,AGILITY,FLYBALL,ETC)?
I compete in YKC stakes and grooming competitions.
HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU LIVE WITH,OWN AND/OR SHOW? I live with 5 dogs 2 Airedale Terrier 2 Tibetan Spaniels and 1 Wire hair Fox terrier.
WHICH ONES DO YOU USE FOR JUNIOR HANDLING AND WHY?
I use my puppy Tibetan spaniel
WHAT BREEDS HAVE YOU SHOWN BEFORE IN COMPETITION?
Tibetans spaniels,setters,ckcs,cocker spaniels,springer spaniels,japenese chin,Standard Poodle, Water spaniel.
TELL US ABOUT HOW TO HANDLE (SHOWING STYLE) YOUR BREED IN JUNIOR HANDLING CLASSES?
Well you have to free stand them and make sure that the tail is always curled over their back like a polo.
WHAT DO YOU NORMALLY WEAR IN COMPETITION?
I wear a suit usually Grey or Black. I wear a blouse underneath my suit jacket.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE OCCASION SO FAR?
My most memorable occasion getting 4th at Richmond in my first ever 12-16 class that was amazing.
Handling a ladies dog in our breed to get a RCC. Handling my puppy to BOB AND BP at clkc. Qualifying for Crufts 08 in my first year of showing. And getting first at LKA 2007 with my puppy age 6 months.
IF YOU ONLY HAD ONE 'TOP TIP' TO SHARE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
To enjoy yourself and concerntrate on what you are doing with your dog not looking around the ring whilst the judge is looking at you.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT JUNIOR HANDLING?
Meeting new people and handling different dogs.
WHAT DISAPPOINTS YOU IN THE WORLD OF JUNIOR HANDLING?
People need to remember to win with pride and lose with dignity no matter what.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO BRING UP?
Enjoy yourself no matter where you come and don't get angry with your dog.
