Junior Handling

6-11 years

1. Kiri Hurst

Had a nice rapport with the dog and was aware of the dogs movements. Ran the dog like a professional. Consistently stacked well, had patience with the dog when it kept moving its legs. Teeth were shown clearly and neatly. Watch how close you stack your dog to the judge after your pattern work. A young handler that will go far.

2. Jasmine Cooper

Handled nicely. Talked to the dog and gave it a lot of encouragement, it was nice to see a dog that idolises its young owner. Was bubbly in the ring, but watch your lead changes when doing a circuit, its difficult with a big dog but try to make it more fluid, stacking needs a bit of work but overall a very good handler.

3rd- Tieryn Clark

Was handling a difficult dog but took her time and handled well. Good show of teeth. Watch the dog's feet. A good example of a young handler, handling a big dog very well.

12-16 years

1. Lily Warren

A brilliant handler, good rapport with the dog, understood her dog and talked kindly to it throughout. A polite handler and considerate of other handlers in the ring. I will not forget this handler, she will go far. She had perfect patterns and was a pleasure to judge. Thank you.

2. Jake Ludford

Another good handler. Had a lovely relationship with his dog and stacked faultlessly. Showed the teeth nicely and again was very polite in the ring. Work on getting straight lines and you will get lots of 1st's! Good luck.

3. Roxanne Morison

Very polished, nice changes of lead between hands, again watch the straight lines. Couldn't fault her stacking, looked very professional. Difficult to show the teeth of dogs with big flews but needed a bit of practise. Patterns were very good.
