“Just to say a really big thank you to you and Helena for the handling day. I really enjoyed it, even if Echo was a little bit hard work. We learnt a lot and have been practising every day at at our local park. It has lots of white lines in the car park so is perfect. I cant wait for my next show now, and look forward to another training day with you both.”

Courtney Gale, 10 years old

“Thanks for a really informative and enjoyable day. For feedback - just regarding the raffle though- it might be quicker for you if you were running late, to pre-draw the tickets and stick the winning numbers on the prizes to speed up the process -we do this at ring craft and it works well. Hope that tip helps. Jemima learnt lots and gained a 5th (out of 17) in her 1st handling class - so thanks again.”

“Thank-you for having the training day for junior handlers. I really enjoyed it and I made some new friends.”

Laura Camilletti, 11 years old

“I would like to say thank you for Saturday I thought it was a really good day and I most admit I learnt more this year then last! I hope there are more training days in the future.

Today I went to Lugari dog clubs show and I tried out all of the skills I learnt last weekend. I came 1st in junior handling 6-16 years and then got the Beagold best junior handling trophy .I went on to get best overall handler beating the adult handler with digby my CKCS. I also received 1st in the junior Lugari dog club stakes with my CKCS Fred . I decided to enter brace for fun and won that too with my CKCS brace (fred and digby). Fred came 4th in open and Digby came 2nd in Non-sporting. The judges were Felix Cosme and Joyce Cosme (Collis). I would like to thank you for all your help.”

Marcia Hutchin, 13 years old

“I just wanted to say "thank you" to you both for taking the time to do the training. Scrappy and I both really enjoyed it and I learnt loads from both the classes I did. I have asked my Mum if I can go to your next training day in the Summer and she has said yes if I practice what you taught me yesterday, so Scrappy and I have been practising our turns in the garden today (I can do the inward turn now!)”

Sarah Catterson, 10 years old

“I think it was a very good day in all respects - well worth the journey. I was a bit worried Sarah may be out of her depth as a beginner but you both made her feel at ease and she got a lot out of it. It was superb value for money - in fact I can't see how you made it pay and I for one would certainly be happy to pay more for the day. If you do do any more training events we would certainly be interested - although they learnt a lot I know there's a lot more you didn't touch on - maybe you need to hold a full weekend session next time? Thanks again - you both inspired her!”

Glynis Catterson

“Thank you for organising such a great training day on Saturday, both of us really enjoyed it and learnt lots of new stuff. Just to let you know that it must of been good as the day after,  I (Charlotte) went to the Cheltenham and District Open show and won the 6 - 11 years class and Hollie Kavanagh, with her Doberman won the 12 - 16 years class. Hollie also went on to beat me in the challenge, which she deserved as she is really good. Thanks again to you and Helena for such a great day, and please let us know when you are doing another one.

Charlotte (10 years old) and Lucy Norridge (7 years old)

“Just wanted to say how very good I thought Saturday's junior handlng training was. My girls Emily and Matilda learnt a lot, but never felt too far out of their depth. You made it both fun and imformative and both of mine want to come again. :-) Emily went to a breed champ show the day after and looked much more confident with Tyke (tri cocker), she even got a second in novice so was thrilled. Once again many thanks.”

Sarah Pilkington, mum of Emily (14 years old), and Matilda (12 years old)

We just wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful day we had. We had so much fun and learnt so much and its not just the juniors , as a parent sitting watching I also learnt so much.We think its brilliant and we really appreciate the enormous effort that you all put in including the kitchen people and Helena's mum for being the judge.

Matthew Webster (10 years old) and family and of course Tansy ( who is sleeping very well !! )
