FLATCOATED RETRIEVER SOCIETY CH SHOW

3rd April 2005

Judge - Sarah Vincent

6 11 years (4, 2a)

1. Alice Larner aged 8.

2. Lucy Kettel aged 7.

Two very inexperienced young handlers who coped extremely well with their charges. Flatcoats are not the easiest of dogs to show in the handling ring. Both these young ladies need to practice at showing their dog’s teeth, not easily done with bait in the hands! The best way of improving handing is to keep practising and to watch the more experienced handlers in the ring. I hope they continue to enjoy their handling as much as they did here. Good luck in your future handling.

12 16 years (4,1a)

1. Liam Travers aged 13. A very competent handler who handled his Flatcoat in a quiet and confident manner without any fuss. Liam was aware of where the judge was at all times and showed the dog’s teeth well. He made excellent use of the ring. Well done. Good luck at Richmond.

2. Daisy Larner aged 12

3. Keith Huckle aged 14
