HOW DID YOU START OFF JUNIOR HANDLING?
We our Belgian Shepherd puppies to a pet obedience class and the trainer suggested that we should show them, I took Bella the Groenendael as she was nervous and Mum handled Ria as she was head strong!
DO YOU TAKE PART IN ANY OTHER DOGGY ACTIVITIES (OBEDIENCE,AGILITY,FLYBALL,ETC)?

Originally 5 Belgians, 2 Border Collies and a Giant Schnauzer, 3 at present 1 Groenendael, 2 Border Collies
WHICH ONES DO YOU USE FOR JUNIOR HANDLING AND WHY?
Any breed as it doesn't matter what breed you show as long as you enjoy what you are doing
WHAT BREEDS HAVE YOU SHOWN BEFORE IN COMPETITION?
BSD's, Border Collies, Schnauzers (all sizes), Weimaraners, WHWT, Cairn Terriers, Whippets, Bichons, Lhasa Apso, Bearded Collies, Dobermans, husky's, Russian Black Terriers, GSD's, Papillions (most breeds really!)
TELL US ABOUT HOW TO HANDLE (SHOWING STYLE) YOUR BREED IN JUNIOR HANDLING CLASSES?
BSD's and Border Collies should be free stood and gaited on a long loose lead so they can really extend in movement. Giant Schnauzers are stacked for square and the head baited forwards again I prefer to show on a loose lead
WHAT DO YOU NORMALLY WEAR IN COMPETITION?
Royal Blue trouser or Skirt suit. In my handling days Royal Blue jacket and white trousers and sensibly shoes (no trainers!)
WHAT ARE YOUR BEST ACHIEVEMENTS?
1996 World Champion Under 13 Junior Handler, 1996 Pedigree Chum/JHA Junior Handler of the year, 1997 European Champion Under 13 Junior Handler, KCJO show handler of the year 3 years running, Runner up International Handler of the year 3 years running, Several International handling awards (in Belgium) Represented Monaco in the Pedigree International Handling competition, 2 times YKC Senior Handler of the year
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE OCCASION SO FAR?
No particular occasion all my titles were amazing and all experiences I will never forget

Enjoy yourself and don't take the winning too seriously, if you win it is a bonus if you loose, there is always another show
