HEREFORD & CKS
Judge - Julie Baldwin
6-11years
1. Holly Roe (10). East class winner as the only one not to come between the dog and the judge. Alert to my position at all times. Having never done a “T” before this young lady showed a real natural & instinctive talent for handling. Outclassed in the challenge today by a more seasoned exhibitor but could go all the way with maturity, practise and time.
2. Rachel Chamerlain (7). What a little star! A real tip for future success, this, the youngest exhibitor never stopped showing for a moment. Although coming inbetween me and the dog (as did all except 1), she showed real determination in controlling a dog that almost came up to her shoulder! Definitly one to watch out for.
3. Kate Stewart.
12-16 years .Two stunning good handlers who could easily change places on another day.
1. Nicola Williams (12) This young lady’s execution of a figure of 8 was flawless. Hand changes were sharp, clean and movement was fluid at all times. Oozing confidence and with the maturity of a much older handler her finishing has real panache. Just edged 2 in a staggeringly tight tiebreaking L. BJH.
2. Charlotte EJ Nickel (15). All the comments apply for 1apply to this immacuately turned out young woman. No signs of hesitation in either movement. Her manner and deamenour in defeat are a real credit to her and others would do well to follow example. Just lost out to 1 as I would have preferred her dog to have been moving just a tad quicker in the tiebreaker. Certainly one from the top drawer and destined for great things.
3. Craig Houghton (14)
