6-11 years

1. Lauren Wiles handling a Whippet. Very neat unobtrusive handling with good straight lines; exaggerate any aspect. Showed the teeth well and watched me at all times. Overall handled sympathetically, just remember to communicate with your dog.

2. Callum Harris handling an Alaskan Malamute. Callum handled his malamute to perfection made a simple mistake.Good straight lines for such a big dog and communicastion at all times. Just remember not to panic if it doesn’t all go to plan.

3. James Russ handling a Greyhound

12-16 years

1. Samantha Foster handling a Australian Shepherd. Polished performance with good straight lines and communication with the dog. Watched me at all times and used the correct amount of eye contact; just be careful not to ‘eyeball’ the judge. Very smart handler who deserved the class.

2. Danielle Williams handling a Labrador. Very kind sympathetic handler the performance just wasn’t quite as polished as 1st. Danielle was always aware of my position in the ring. Just need to tighten up on the straight lines.
