1. Amelia Hetterley. Presented her dog very well, looking good together. Her pattern work was good and she was aware of any slight change of position however, she did not respond correctly by returning directly to my new position. This fault was made by all the other Junior Handlers. Anyway, well done Amelia for getting Best Junior Handler Day 2.
2. Lucy Hankey. Very well done, try to be more relaxed and get lots of practice.
12-16 years (3)
1. Rebecca Houlston. Her dog was a bit difficult to handle which spoils the overall effect. Pattern work was correct except for adjusting to my moved position. Moving in pairs proved difficult for 1 and 2. Stood and presented her dog very well. Good luck for the future.
2. Annalese Jones. Well done.
3. Elizabeth Hetterley. Shame you got your reverse T a bit mixed up. Practice with your sister and good luck. Best overall Junior Handler awarded to Day 1 winner, Page Allen. This young girl is very in tune with her dog and has lots of potential, practice all the different combinations of patterns so they become 2nd nature. Her presentation work was excellent and pattern work was very good. The two finalists moved in pairs, when I moved to one side they responded correctly but failed to present their dogs close enough in front of me. Well done to both girls.
