SOUTHERN BORDER TERRIER CLUB
Judge - Felicity Freer
I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the handling and a lovely day. I was pleased with the overall standard of handling however I think all just need a bit more confidence and to talk to their dogs more. It goes a long way. Please remember that pattern work should be started from the judges feet.
Under 12 years (5)
1 & BJH. Victoria Clarke. Well presented young lady who completed all patterns with perfection. Talked and encouraged her dog at all times, definitely a promising young handler.
2. Rebecca Clarke. Missed out just on final presentation to 1, very close between both. Again all patterns we completed correctly and neatly.
12-17 years (3)
1. Fiona Drewett. Lots of confidence throughout, good table work and presentation. Need to remember to go from the judges’ feet to do your pattern work, but handled her puppy very well.
2 Emma Butler. Although her first time handling did a very good job, again please remember to start your pattern work from the judges’ feet. Showed her dog well, just needs a little more confidence. Close between 2nd & 3rd, Emma won by showing her dogs teeth neatly and correctly.
3. Johnathan Dyer.
