ST AUSTELL & DISTRICT CS
Judge - Liz Bartram
Due to the bad weather conditions the appointed judge Mrs J Mann was unable to fulfill her appointment to judge the Junior Handling and Special classes. Therefore it was my great pleasure to be able to stand in for her. It is always a joy to judge the Junior Handlers, their dedication and professional attitude does them credit. I was entremely pleased to see the second places immediately congratulate the winner. Well done.
6-11 years (5). 1. Rebecca Thompson. She handled her dog with confidence from the start. She placed her dog well on the table. Kept it correctly in my vision at all times and listened to my request for a reverse triangle to finish and thought it out. Rebecca has the ability to become a very professional young lady. She just needs a little more practice.
2. Francesca McWade. A good performance. She kept her eye where I was positioned in the ring and made sure her dog was always in my vision. I hope to see more of this young lady. I feel she has what it takes to become very good.
12-16 years (2). This was a very difficult decision between two excellent young handlers. They were a great joy to watch and I was only sorry I couldnąt have two first awards.
1. Clare Butler. This was a great bit of handling. A crisp clean performance at all times. Kept herself unobtrusive and made every effort to ensure her dog.
