26th November 2005 WELSH SPRINGER CLUB Judge - Kirsty Miller It was an honour to have been asked to jude the junior handlers at the above show, a disappointing entry with absentees. 6-11 years (4,1a) 1. Louise Butler aged 11 yrs. Very smart and confident looking handler, worked well with her dog , but needs to work on positioning of herself, her dog and the judge. On several occasions covered the dog from my view, thus going between me and the dog. Also needs to make her turns and corners sharper. Best Handler. 2. Fern Jackson aged 11 yrs. Another useful handler but her pattern work and positioning was not as good as 1. 3. Rebecca Smith aged 11 yrs. 12-16 years (2,2a) |
