In the flyoff, both flyers tried to fly using the crystals that they had used throughout the competition not realising that they were on the same frequency. Within seconds of launch Keith’s model crashed and Rob’s model appeared to be out of control. Keith realised what was wrong and switched off his trannie. Rob then regained control and landed safely.  They did not want a second flight and accepted that Rob won as he had the longest flight- about 26 seconds.
