Hand Launched / Mini Glider Competition
1. Qualifying models must have a maximum wingspan of
1.5 metres, a maximum weight of 560 gms and a minimum nose radius of
5mm.
2. Launching may be by hand or by mini bungee
3. The bungee should be a maximum of 20 metres in
unstretched length. The stretching part to be no longer than 5
metres (before stretching).
4. The maximum total stretch of the bungee at the
point of launch to be 27 metres.
5. The competition shall comprise 3 rounds of five
flights per competitor.
6. The best three flights per round by each
competitor shall score with 1 point awarded per second of flight,
inclusive of the launch.
7. A scoring flight must land within the designated
field.
